Privacy policy

The information collected depends on how you use the site. General inquiries may include your name, email address and message.

Wedding inquiries may also include a partner’s name, phone number, wedding date, venue or city, coverage needs and budget. Commercial inquiries may include a company name, phone number, shoot type, intended use, preferred date, location, budget, approximate image count and project brief.

Print requests may include your name, email, phone number, shipping country and postal code, selected photographs, product and size choices, quantity, finish or framing preferences, notes and message.

Information is used to respond to inquiries, understand and quote a project, prepare or fulfil requested photography and print services, communicate about those services, maintain business and accounting records, and protect the forms from abuse.

The forms create a one-way hash from limited network and browser information for rate limiting. The raw IP address and user-agent are not placed in the inquiry payload.

Invited clients may use a private portal backed by authentication. The portal can process account and contact information together with project materials, galleries, selections, comments, quotes, contracts and related records needed to deliver the service.

Lafitte Studio Inc. uses service providers to operate the site and business systems. These include Supabase for database, authentication and storage services; Microsoft 365 and transactional-email infrastructure for communications; and hosting and content-delivery providers. Those providers process information only as needed to provide their services and under their own terms and security practices.

The public site does not currently load a third-party advertising pixel or analytics tracker.

The site uses browser storage for the selected language and for photographs saved in a print selection. Supabase authentication also uses browser storage for signed-in Studio OS and client-portal sessions. No marketing cookie is currently configured. Clearing browser storage may reset these preferences or sign you out.

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide services, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. Retention can vary according to the record and the relationship.

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, including access controls and private storage where appropriate. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to access or correct personal information associated with you, or request deletion where it is not required for an active service, accounting, legal or security purpose.
