About
My first camera was a small grey Olympus point-and-shoot, a digital camera my grandmother gave me when I was seven. I used it to photograph landscapes and everyday moments with friends during walks, summer camps, and small adventures.
Both of my grandparents encouraged that curiosity. They travelled around the world with film cameras, and their photographs helped inspire my own desire to explore and document what I experienced. I still use my grandfather’s film camera today.
Photography stayed with me, but it became a serious part of my life years later through aviation. During flight school, I began taking photographs from the aircraft while flying cross-country trips. In 2021, I bought my first interchangeable-lens camera, and started photographing regularly. Since then, travel and photography have become inseparable for me.
Aviation has also shaped the way I work: precise, attentive to detail, and comfortable adapting when circumstances change. Whether I am documenting a place, a wedding, or a business, I want the photographs to feel true to what I experienced.
